St. Croix: Some sun, a brief shower or 2, windy conditions and a high of 88

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will have some sun with a brief shower or two and windy conditions for a high of 88, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will be partly cloudy with a couple of showers late for a low of 75, according to AccuWeather.

For the islands in our area, the breezy conditions continue, the National Weather Service said.

Winds of 15–25 mph with higher gusts are expected across the region, according to the NWS.

“Secure loose items,” the NWS said on X.

Meanwhile, the marine and coastal hazards continue through the end of the week, according to the NWS.

The life-threatening rip currents warning remains in effect through Saturday at 6:00 p.m., the NWS said.
