Urban and small stream flood advisory issued for St. Croix

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will have episodes of sunshine, a thunderstorm in spots this morning, followed by a shower in spots this afternoon and a high of 87, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will be partly cloudy with a low of 75, according to AccuWeather.

Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected today due to the influence of a trough in our area, the National Weather Service said.

Due to saturated soils and stream-flows running high, the flood threat is significant over central Puerto Rico, according to NWS.

Northside, St. Thomas got 10.8 inches of rain from April 18 to May 6, 2025, the NWS said.
