St. Croix: Intervals of clouds and sunshine, late a.m. shower, high 89

CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will see intervals of clouds and sunshine with a shower in spots late this morning and a high of 89, AccuWeather said.

Tonight St. Croix will be partly cloudy with a passing shower or two and a low of 77, according to AccuWeather.

Across the islands, passing showers and gusty winds will persist this morning, leaving some wet roads, the National Weather Service said.

Passing showers and breezy conditions will persist once again tonight. If driving, be aware of puddles in the roadways and reduced visibility, according to the NWS.

Small craft and swimmers must exercise caution, due choppy seas and moderate risk of rip currents across local waters and most beaches of the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, the NWS said.
