CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will have a brief shower or two this morning; otherwise, it will be windy at times with clouds and sunshine and a high of 89, AccuWeather said.
Tonight St. Croix will be partly cloudy with a low of 76, according to AccuWeather.
Breezy to windy conditions will bring scattered showers and degrade marine and coastal conditions around the islands, the National Weather Service said.
Meanwhile, the breezy to windy conditions could fuel fires to spread, according to the NWS.
“While it may feel cool, the wind can fan the flames,” the NWS said on X. “Secure loose items, avoid outdoor burning, and report fires right away! Stay safe!”
