CHRISTIANSTED — Today St. Croix will be mostly cloudy with a thunderstorm in parts this morning followed by a little rain in the afternoon and a high of 87, AccuWeather said.
Tonight St. Croix will experience cloudy conditions with a low of 75, according to AccuWeather.
The development of showers and thundershowers is expected this afternoon, increasing the risk of flooding, the National Weather Service said.
The risk of rip currents will remain moderate for the beaches of northern PR, Culebra, St. Thomas and St. John, according to the NWS.
Due to expected thunderstorms and heavy rainfall over already saturated soils, there is a significant risk of flooding and landslides across the islands from today through Thursday, according to the NWS.
